Organic Shea Butter: Stops itchiness and protects the skin. Shea butter has been proven to have several benefits because of its antioxidant, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory characteristics. When applied topically, shea butter can increase moisture retention by acting as a protective layer over your skin and preventing water loss on the first layer, as well as penetrating to enrich the other layers.
Organic Coconut Oil: Studies show that coconut oil can improve the moisture content of dry skin and reduce the symptoms of eczema. It can also protect against hair damage.
Organic Plantain Skins: Treats wounds, stops itching. For decades, it has been considered by herbalists to be a useful remedy for wounds, inflamed skin, and dermatitis. Bruised or crushed plantain leaves are applied topically to treat insect bites and stings, eczema, and small wounds or cuts.
Cocoa Pod Powder: cocoa is an incredibly strong antioxidant. Antioxidants help to repair the damage done to your skin cells by free radicals from environmental toxins, car exhaust, ultraviolet light, household chemicals, and cigarette smoke. They boost blood flow and assist the growth of new cells, keeping skin looking young and radiant.
Topical application of cacao is also known to help reduce the appearance of scars.
